Case Study
In August 2017 we were approached by the owners of Manor Farm in Croydon (Cambridgeshire), by the exquisite Wimpole Estate, to see if we would be interested in developing a large pool in an old barn on their land.
The pool was self-built by the farm’s owners in the early 80’s for their children but like many home pools it had fallen into disrepair over the years.
The project required us to completely redesign the ergonomics and aesthetics of the building, changing the location of the entrance to the other side of the building to maintain efficient heating to reduce long-term costs and to create a more natural flow.
We completely insulated and renovated the changing and pool area to give it a clean, luxurious feel and installed state of the art heating, chemical controllers and shower facilities to complete the experience for customers.
The landowners now have a pool they can be proud of and can see significant returns through it, year after year!
By partnering with Elite Swimming Academy we have managed to diversify our farm in a totally new way. We have worked with them for many years now and are very happy with the relationship.
