Bring your pool back to life.
Working with Elite Swimming Academy to Re-develop your School Pool.
Up to 100% Re-development Funding available per pool within 40 mile radius of Cambridge.
Since 2009, we have negotiated numerous outstanding partnerships with schools and businesses throughout Cambridgeshire and Suffolk to help them realise their pools’ potential to generate a substantial income whilst providing valuable life skills to children and adults in the local community.
Many schools are struggling to keep their pools open in recent years due to the high running costs, and many are falling into disrepair. By partnering with us, several local schools and businesses have managed to save their pools for generations to come. We have funded the renovations 100% in return for the use of the pools outside of school hours for which we pay an agreed rent. This is a win win model as the schools have a functioning money making swimming pool and we are able to expand our swimming lessons.
If you have a dated, disused or uncovered pool at your school that you would like to convert into an asset rather than a burden, then we would be delighted to speak with you. We have renovated several pools from the ground up in recent years and are currently looking for the next school to partner with.
We work out of numerous schools & colleges, delivering lessons outside of school hours and throughout school holidays, which ensures no clashes with the everyday running of the school.
Our low student ratios, professionalism and attention to detail make us an ideal partner to work with to develop your pool into a money-making asset when it is not in use by the school.

New lease of life for Fawcett Primary School Swimming Pool
A local children’s swim school have this week started work on redeveloping and enclosing the old outdoor swimming pool at Fawcett Primary School in Trumpington. Elite Swimming Academy founded by Channel Swimmer Ed Williams, have invested heavily into saving the derelict swimming pool from demolition in order to provide a vital facility for generations to come.
The swimming pool has been in a state of disrepair for the past 5 years so Fawcett Primary School were delighted when Elite approached them to partner on saving it.
The pool shell is being completely restored and a glass enclosure is being installed over it. There will also be a small changing block complete with showers and toilet facilities meaning the pool will be able to be used all year round for swimming lessons.
Ed Williams said “It is a huge privilege to be involved in this project to provide a much needed new facility for children to learn to swim. We have worked on similar renovation projects in the past but this will be our biggest transformation yet by turning an outdoor pool into an indoor one.”
The swimming pool will be heated with an air source heat pump and the pool water goes through a special recycling chamber making it an incredibly energy efficient project. The Trumpington Federation will have use of the pool during the day time and Elite Swimming Academy will use it to run private swimming lessons outside of school hours.
Elite Swimming Academy operate lessons all over Cambridge from many other private pools and with just 3 swimmers in a class (with usually just one class in a pool) their model is perfect for social distancing in the new world.

We are delighted that the children at Trumpington Meadows and Fawcett Primary Schools will be able to use the pool all year round. This is an example of how collaboration and partnership can benefit the community.
