These classes are suitable for children who are complete beginners with little or no water experience.

For confident beginners. The child should be able to take instructions correctly and happily fully submerge in the water unaided. Swimming a few metres independently is also required. This level is for swimmers coming off aids completely. Exploring independent swimming up to 5 metres. To be able to understand a streamline position on front and back.

This level is perfect for children that can confidently swim unaided up to 10 metres. That enjoy being under the water and can exhale in the water. The student should be able to float on their front and back for 5 seconds without any support. These lessons are focused around water safety and control in the water. We look at travelling through the water efficiently and swimming in deeper water with confidence.

These classes are aimed at swimmers that can transfer front and back paddle to front and back crawl. Swimmers in this group should be confidently submerging for 10 seconds, floating for 10 seconds and travelling 10 - 15 metres on their front and back unaided and out of their depth. Students must also have a good understanding of safety in the water.

This is for developing the breathing phase during front crawl and breaststroke. Swimmers will be improving their techniques and co-ordination in the 3 main strokes. Swimmers in this stage should be able to swim front and back crawl for 20 metres, as well as swim with a symmetrical breaststroke kick. Swimmers should also be able to perform a dolphin kick and various aquatic skills.

These classes are for swimmers that have a range of aquatic skills. Skills include - treading water, sculling, handstands, somersaults and diving. Swimmers should be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres in all 4 strokes with an understanding of correct style.

This is for strong swimmers that can swim 50 -100 metres in all 4 strokes. Bilateral breathing in front crawl. Steady backstroke that remains streamline throughout. Breaststroke that has the pull, breathe, kick, glide timing. As well as a Butterfly that is strong and well performed. This level is also for children that are perfecting all aquatic skills. Such as Diving, tumble turns and treading water.

Students must be able to complete a 1 hour session. Elegantly swim 200 metres continuously, in 3 of the 4 strokes without stopping. As well as perform aquatic skills such as diving, tumble turns and treading water.
