Tuesdays 7.15pm – 8.15pm Bottisham Village College

Fridays 7.15pm – 8.15pm at Abbey Pool

1 hour sessions instead of 30 minutes

Sessions run every Tuesday and Friday in term time

Has your child reached the end of what conventional swimming lessons can offer, but still wants to swim, socialise and improve? Has your child tried out for the local swimming or triathlon club but not quite made the entry criteria? We have the perfect solution: Our advanced junior programme! Our programme is non-competitive, filling the gap between our standard weekly schedule & joining competitive clubs around the county. After a term of our programme, head on over to a competitive swim club and represent ESA students! Once a week, for 1 hour, your child will have an intense club-standard coaching session to iron out any technique flaws and develop their confidence & stamina. They will be able to work on anything they are struggling with and develop their advanced skills under the expert guidance of one of our top coaches. By the end of the term, they will be swimming faster, easier and more effectively to maximise their swimming potential!.

Student Requirements

Please note that our advanced sessions are recommended for 10yrs+ and students must have completed their ASA stage 7 award or be able to swim a strong front crawl for 200m+. This is a hard class, so the standards are set high.

Longer pools to develop Technique and Stamina

We run these sessions at Bottisham Swimming Pool (25m long) and Abbey Leisure Pool (25m long) to enable our swimmers to get a high quality work out and to develop advanced skills.
