Hi I’m Yoshi
I am a fun and enthusiastic person with a huge passion for swimming. From a young age I joined a club and competed in various competitions. I made a decision from this, to find a career with teaching Swimming.
I would say one of my achievements would be becoming captain for my old swimming club, I passed my sports coaching qualifications at college. This really helped me to become more passionate for teaching younger minds.
I started lifeguarding at the age of 16 then went on to manage a leisure centre and also a swim coach. I then thought it would be good to come to Cambridge to see what I could achieve here having learned about Elite Swimming Academy.
I started to work for ESA just over 2 years ago as a cover teacher, then moved to the fixed programme
I really enjoyed the structure and the brilliant criteria that ESA use. Compared to other swim schools, it shows progressive learning from the start.
Anthony helped me settle in and tutored me from the start. I certainly feel I have become a much better teacher now. I have improved class management and planning my lessons. It is so important for the foundations of learning. I have improved massively in the past 2 years. I have helped to improve lots of swimmers during my time at ESA so far and I want this to continue for many years.
I enjoy working with children of all ages and abilities. I want to help children progress, feel confident and safe in the water. I believe swimming is one of the most important life skills to learn.
”Yoshi has taught my daughter to be a confident and efficient swimmer in just a few months of lessons. We are absolutely delighted. Thank you ESA!”
