Hi I’m Tania
I am a graduate from UCL obtaining my PGCE in Post- compulsory education in 2013 teaching in Further education Art&Design. In 2019, I obtained my STA level 2 certificate in teaching swimming. I first became a qualified AUSTSWIM teacher in 1997. Working as a swimming instructor at Sydney’s Milton Point Olympic pool alongside specialist coaches in Freestyle and Open-water swimming.
I have always had a love for swimming in the Ocean, its ever-changing environment challenging my own swim training and gaining lifelong health benefits. I enjoy teaching new skills with the use of creative games, play, building on skills and swimmers’ confidence in the water. I teach a variety of abilities from beginners who’s first time it is in a new environment, to working towards efficient stroke technique or advanced swimmer looking to improve on breathing variations. In addition, I teach water-safety throughout all levels and additional skills in diving and synchronised swimming techniques.
I Look forwards to meeting you on poolside.
”Alistair is teaching our 6yr old daughter in a fun and pleasant way. She looks very happy in his class, is paying attention (most of the time), is keen to please him, and is making steady improvement. She immediately liked his manner; which is quite rare! Thank you for suggesting Alistair for us!”
