Hi I am Lucinda!

I am a fully qualified swimming teacher and have been teaching since the age of 17. I discovered my passion for teaching swimming at the age of 14 when I assisted in my swimming coaches lessons in London. I decided to become a fully qualified teacher not long after that!

I always love being in the water and have been an enthusiastic swimmer and a good sportswoman for as long as I can remember. Currently I am training for the triathlons in 2019 and hope to have a sports based career in teaching and training as a triathlete.

I plan my lessons to be fun and exciting but also make sure that the students achieve their swimming goals and reach their full potential, I like to pay attention to each section of all the strokes in depth and teach other water based skills to the highest of standards.

Being a keen swimmer I understand the importance of knowing how to swim and that it should be a life necessity. I have experience in teaching children as young as 3 and nervous adults.

My goal as a swimming teacher is to help all students reach their swimming potential.

“Can I take this chance to say what a fantastic swimming teacher, “child’s play therapist”, “counsellor” and just downright lovely person Anthony has been and both of my children have had a lovely time learning to swim with him. I’m certain they wouldn’t be where they are now without his input.”

“I want to thank all of you for your patience and willingness to help, particularly Anthony whose support at an incredibly difficult time for us was really important. Our daughter has really enjoyed her lessons with him and has made fantastic progress. We are really grateful.”

“We have been extremely pleased with our daughter’s progress and this is all down to Anthony’s superb teaching, our daughter thinks he’s great & so do we.”
