Hello, I’m David and I’ve been a swimming teacher for over two years now. I have a huge passion for water and any water-based sports and activities.
I was a competitive swimmer during my teen years, swimming in pools and in open waters, mostly using breast stroke and butterfly.
I learned to swim when I was only 13, as I was petrified of water. Thanks to my great teacher at that time, I was able to overcome my fear of it and ended up enjoying being in the water a lot! Due to beating this fear, I am able to relate to children that haven’t had much contact with water, by reassuring them that it can be a fun place after all.
I’m able to provide fun, engaging and varied lessons, making sure the child is both progressing and enjoying the lessons as well.
I look forward to seeing you on poolside!
“Just wanted to say how impressed we were with David’s teaching of our son’s first lesson. David has a quiet, competent manner and clearly a great deal of experience evident in the skillful and low-key way he introduced new skills and experiences throughout the lesson. Very impressed.”
“I’m SO happy with the lessons our daughter is having. David is attentive and tailoring each part of the lesson to her abilities. The biggest problem is that she’s smiling so much she’s swallowing lots of water!
Looking forward to seeing how she progresses”
“Our sons have swimming lessons with David at DW Sports. They enjoy their lessons very much and are making good progress. David is very kind and patient, and the lessons have helped to build up our sons’ self-confidence. Thank you so much.”
