Freestyle Drop-in Coaching Sessions
Our group coaching sessions are a great way to improve your swimming technique, strength, stamina, speed and understanding with a small group of like-minded people. We never do the same session twice and each class is individually made to fit the abilities of the students.
You will progress noticeably and quickly in all areas of your swimming in a very short space of time. To get the most out of your swimming it is vital that you have the correct balance of both technique and fitness training. Our group coaching sessions will do just that. Each session lasts for 1 hour and consists of a perfect balance of technique, stamina and discussion both as a group and on a 1-2-1 basis.
We tend to follow a different theme each week but if you have any specific goals or technique concerns we can always build them into the session for you to tailor it to your exact needs. No need to book for these sessions, just turn up any time!
Every Monday evening 7pm – 8pm at Abbey Pool – Cambridge.
As a minimum, you will be expected to swim a distance of 200m of continuous freestyle to participate in this session.
If you are unable to swim the above distance, we would love to have you attend 1-2-1 coaching to get you started! Distances are tailored in this session to suit the individual so you will be worked at a level specific to your ability for the duration of the session.
£10 per session, payable at the pool at registration, before the session.
You can also purchase a 10-swim card in advance from here and collect at your next session. This 10 swim card reduces the cost of each session to £9 by paying £90 up front. It also means you don’t need to worry about bringing cash each week!
