Elite Swimming Academy was set up by Edward and Rebecca Williams in 2007 to transform the quality, service and results of swimming tuition and coaching for children and adults of all ages and abilities.

The Story so Far...

The company has grown from doing just one or two lessons per week to teaching an average of 600 children and adults every week from complete beginners through to fitness swimmers, triathletes and even members of the British Team! Small classes combined with innovative teaching techniques and the highest quality teachers & coaches is why we get such fast results in our students.

Elite Swimming Academy was first launched shortly after Edward (one of the founders) became one of the youngest people in world history to swim solo across the English Channel in 14 hours in 2006. His priorities in life were transformed on that day and a passion for passing the knowledge and wisdom of the sport was born.

In recent years Elite Swimming Academy have been appointed official coaches of the Channel Swimming Association and Paralympic swimming. We have donated over £70,000 to charities through sponsored swims including the English Channel and the length of Lake Windermere which Ed completed in 2010 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice. Giving back to local Charities has always been a fundamental principle with our growth from the beginning. This has been a contributing factor to us winning several local and National awards such as Young People of the Year Awards in 2010 and Sports Personality of the Year Awards in 2008.

Elite Swimming Academy continue to grow every week as our methods, results and service are refined and improved. We have now successfully franchised our company into other areas of the UK and are very much looking forward to launching our methods and brand into other parts of the country in 2011 and 2012.
